Stonehenge & Avebury World Heritage Site

The WHS’s previous website had served its purpose well, but was becoming dated both visually and technically. Navigation was complex, and the design was no longer fully responsive.

The brief

The WHS approached Resolution to reimagine their online presence. A modern, accessible, and inspiring digital home that reflects the timeless significance of the site while supporting the WHS’s mission to inform, educate, and engage.

Our approach

We began with a discovery phase, working closely with the SAWHS team to understand their audiences, objectives, and content structure. From that foundation, we focused on three core principles: accessibility and clarity, immersive storytelling and flexibility for the future.

The result

The redesigned site offers a cleaner, more modern interface that reflects the prestige of a UNESCO World Heritage Site while remaining warm, accessible and community-focused. A digital experience that bridges the ancient and the modern, celebrating the enduring legacy of Stonehenge and Avebury while supporting the WHS’s forward-looking vision.
